Carsten Peter, Hang Son Doong, 2011
At a mammoth 2.5 miles long, 330ft wide and almost 800ft high, Hang Son Doong also known as Mountain River Cave, is as high as 25 double decker buses.
…Well, I guess someone found D’ni. That was easy.
I’ve had several people submit various links/versions of Hang Son Doong over the past few days, so I’m just going to reblog it because it is still AMAZING.

Majlis al Jinn | Selma Plateau, Oman
Majlis al Jinn also Majlis al-Jinn (meeting/gathering place of the Jinn), local name: Khoshilat Maqandeli is the ninth largest cave chamber in the world, as measured by the surface area of the floor, [though it] ranks higher when measured by volume.
